British Council Young Learner English Centre at International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB), Uttara Campus
We’re proud to announce the launch of the British Council Young Learner English Centre at IHSB, Uttara Campus — the first-ever partnership between the British Council and a Bangladeshi school. This British collaboration aims to empower learners aged 7–17 with strong English skills, creativity, and global confidence.

A proud partnership begins!
Collaboration between two British organizations — Stirling Education UK (the parent company of IHSB) and the British Council British Council Young Learner English Centre at International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB), Uttara Campus. The British Council has expanded its English language teaching network by partnering with International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB), the first and only school in the country to do so, marking the Council's first teaching center outside Fuller Road at IHSB's Uttara Campus.
IHSB is now IB Candidate School!
We are proud to announce that International Hope School Bangladesh is now an official candidate school for the IB DP. This milestone reflects our commitment to inspiring curious minds, nurturing global perspectives, and empowering students to shape a better world. Together for a brighter future!

Alaf Khandaker Delivers Keynote at BIGF
Alaf Khandaker, President of the IHSB Debate & MUN Club, delivered a keynote speech on “Children’s Role in Artificial Intelligence” at the 21st Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF). He highlighted the risks of AI dependence, algorithmic manipulation and AI-generated imagery, while discussing policy changes to create a safer digital environment for young people. Alaf received a certificate of appreciation from BIGF Secretary General Mr. Mohammad Abdul Haque Anu and University of Dhaka Professor Dr. Md. Rakibul Hoque. Congratulations to Alaf on this achievement!
Life at BRAC as an Intern
Stepping beyond the classroom, IHSB students experienced professional life through an internship at BRAC University, gaining a practical introduction to the workplace. The experience helped them explore workplace culture, strengthen communication and teamwork skills, and understand professional responsibilities. By connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences, they took a valuable step towards becoming confident and career-ready individuals.
Beyond Words 2026
An evening of creativity, celebration, and unforgettable moments! The Beyond Words 2026 Evening Gala & Closing Ceremony brought together poetry, dance, inspiring addresses, and live music. The celebration honoured outstanding achievements at the Grand Awards Ceremony, followed by energetic band performances to close the evening on a high note. Here’s a glimpse of the talent, joy, and applause that made it so special!

We proudly welcome our SRC Presidents Arbar Shahid and Prebona Arman, along with our Prefects San Zarif Jehsan, Samiul Bashar Tonmoy, Mahreen Bintee Hasan, Moni Tamim, Mohammad Samun, Azmayeen Munshaat Kamal, Afrin Jahan Opsara, and Anabiyah Tayyeba Khondker. The newly elected SRC members recently met with our Principal, Ms. Roksana Zarin, marking the beginning of their journey of leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and service to the school community.
